Hatsukoi or first love, starring Aoi Miyazaki, opened on June 10 2006 in Japanese theaters Aoi Miyazaki plays a high school girl Misuzu, who was the criminal of the famous “300 million yen robbery” case in 1968. Her real brother, Masaru Miyazaki, plays Misuzu’s brother in the movie. The story took place in the chaotic days of 1960s. Misuzu, a lonely high school girl found a group of friends to hang out. They spent their days gathering in a jazz bar and indulging themselves in sex, drugs and alcohol. Eventually, Misuzu and one of the rebellious boys, Kishi had a plot of robbing a bank car of 300 million yen. On one rainy day, Misuzu carried out the plot and successfully robbed the money. When it all ended, Misuzu felt a great sense of loss and sadness that she had never expected.
